What color thread should I use to quilt this lap quilt? I've only quilted a few times before, so I'm still learning.

I use white for almost everything. In my humble opinion, the stitches are supposed to show up and show off your quilting skills.

Have you decided how you are going to quilt it? Do you want the quilting stitches to be seen? How about a pink and blue variegated?

I use variegated thread most of the time, shows up nicely and blends at the same time.

I'd use white on that if it were mine. If just pink and blue varigated thread were available, I'd consider it as a second choice.

I'm going to do a STID. I think I'm going to use baby blue. It matches the outer border and the back.

I'd probably use a cream or white. Just me though. I do love the quilt, it's very pretty!
