I just wanted to add that I have 2 sons and 2 grandsons and the baby I'm holding in my avatar is my first great grandchild, a little girl and the first girl in our family other than a daughter in law and my granddaughter in law. My grandson that has the baby girl is an engineer in the Air Force and he and his wife are stationed in Little Rock, Arkansas, so I don't get to see her very often. He has spent one tour in Afghanistan. His wife was an instructor in the Air Force also, but she finished her time and got out. Now she is going full time to college.

You are a very busy lady. I like them all. I am drawn to your grandson's quilt...it makes me feel comfortable somehow just to look at it. It is a very handsome quilt. Great job on all of them.

ps your grandson is so adorable. Enjoy every minute you have with him.

Honest feedback...great quilts. Each one individually made for a specific reason and wonderfully so.

oma66, thank you for the compliments on my quilts. Your great grandson is so cute. I have a great granddaughter, I know she looks like a little boy because she doesn't have much hair yet, but she is a little girl. I lived in Phoenix for several years and just love Arizona.

Your quilts look great! I am also learning to quilt on a longarm, and it's not as easy as it looks! By the way, my mother lived in Nowata when she was young!

QOV stands for Quilts of Valor. These quilts go to veteran hospitals and are given to the wounded coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan to let them know we are thinking of them and appreciate their service for our country. When they get to leave the hospital and go home they get to take their quilt with them. We get some awsome letters from the recipients. They really do appreciate what we are doing for them.
