how special they are and will be to her.
Welcome to the Quilting Board!
how special they are and will be to her.
They're great. She will treasure them. Isn't it amazing how far you can 'stretch' fabric when you want to!!!!!!!
Happy???? I'm sure she will be ecstatic! Those are beautiful quilts and the memories will be hers to snuggle under. You did a fabulous job.
She will just be overjoyed. How nice of you to make the second one for her. Both are so pretty.
Wow, love em both. Boy does the blue one show beautifully!
What a beautiful job you did on both quilts - perhaps your son's wife might like a quilt done using her Dad's shirts. Might be something to ask your son. Just a thought.
These are so beautiful. Please let us know her response when she sees then completed!
Very nice quilts and what a great thing to do for her!
The quilts are beautiful and you did such a great job. She is going to love the quilts.
She will love them.
Beautiful quilts -- What a wonderful friend you are! She will surely cherish these!
I like this idea better than throwing out the shirts. A useful commemorative reminder. They both look great.
oh my word. They are so beautiful.
Oooh- I love them both; but particularly the first one. Love that pattern.
She will love them, and how special of you to do this for your son.

She is going to love them. THey are great.
That was so nice of you, she will appreciate both of them.
You did a wonderful job on both quilts. I have never used clothing to make a quilt. I was just wondering if all of the darker blue fabric in the twin size quilt was cut from only one shirt. BTW you really did a good job of "winging" it on that second quilt.
i just finished a couple of quilts with this pattern!! it was an easy one to do, compared to some others. i just used my scraps in pastels with off white on white prints and it turned out good.
The rustic stars is on my to do list! I have a collection of shirts taken apart. Now to get the time to make one! Yours are wonderful. You did a great job with them both! :D
Absolutely gorgeous. You did a great job. She will be so pleased to get these. Good for you.
What a great way to cherish memories. You are such a good friend. Your quilt is great...have made several for family reunions...although I can't remember the name off hand. Got my pattern from Quilter's Cache. I see you also gave out the pattern and great tutorial. Thanks...will save it for future reference.
