These are two beautiful quilts that will be treasured and loved. What a sweetheart you are to do this. Both of you must be very special caring people . The world needs more like you. Blessings....
Those are beautiful..She will remember so many good things when she looks at the quilts. You are a great friend..
They are beautiful quilts and it is so very thoughtful of you to make them for her.
They are both beauties! She will always treasure them.
How Awesome!! She will "Love" the reminders. And different colors so she can change the look with out a big fuss.
What a wonderful job. They look great.
What wonderful memory quilts to have around.
She is going to love them.
You did a fantastic job.
They are both awesome!!!
Very Beautiful
No, the darker blue was something from my stash. I tried a dark red/burgudy color, but liked the blue better.
It's great. I was just wondering how many squares can be obtained from one men's shirt.Originally Posted by K.P.

They are both great--love the star one!
:D She should be very proud of these, good job beautiful quilts. I can see the tears already. :-)
Wonderful quilts and a great loving idea. I am very close to what I call my mutual mothers-in-love. (My son's and my daughter's Mothers-in-laws)
What a nice thing to do. I am sure she will cherish them.
Fantastic! I love the borders with the strips of material.
I had about 12-15 shirts and I was able to make both quilts, all shirts were plaid/stripped; made the stars, square-in-a-suares and piano keys (still have little pieces I cut off the star quilt that might make a narrow pieced border...the other fabric I added, like the blue and some of the borders.
Both are beautiful.
Great quilts, I'm sure they will bring tears to her eyes with love and appreciation.
The rustic stars is my favorite, I've seen it called 'floating stars' also.
So thoughtful of you to take the time to not only make one but two quilts. Lots of memories in those shirts.
