    Default Quilts for my GC

I've had quilts for my oldest two grands on my list for quite a while but other things kept getting in the way. In the beginning of January, I made a vow that I wouldn't do anything else until they were complete and gifted. I'm happy to report that I had them ready for our family weekend over Memorial Day weekend. They loved them and I love knowing they use them all the time.

Edited to add that I have no idea why the pictures below look sideways, but if you click on them, they open correctly. Sorry about that!

They are wonderful, both of them. I've never seen a quilt with open books before. Was it a pattern or did you think it up? And the dogs couldn't be cuter, especially the one with a vision problem. Good job!

Love them both!! The book quilt would make a great graduation/college dorm quilt. I’ve always thought these dash hounds were cute. If they are using them it shows how much they love them. Great job! Are the book blocks paper pieced?

These are both super! And they look as though they were perfect choices for your grandchildren. Good for you for making a goal and achieving it.
