I toured Latimer with other members of my guild. This museum contains many wonderful old quilts. Next time I am there I will be sure to ask about your grandmother's quilt collection.

Wow! Beautiful work! I know it took a lot to give them up.
Thank you for doing so. Now many will benefit from seeing the wonderful quilts your grandmother made.

What a wonderful collection and how great of you to donate them to a museum where many can benefit from them.

Oh my, they are all gorgeous quilts. The first one is stunning and my favorite. The quilting on the wedding ring one is amazing. And all those yo-yo's. As a kid I tried doing 3" and 4-5" diameter yo-yos for a clown. I was bored long before I finished. My patience level for that kind of stuff is not much better now, and I can't imagine making as many as she did and so small. WOW!! How wonderful that you are giving them to the museum so they can be cared for and many people can enjoy them. I hope the next time I go to the coast they are on display so that I can see them in person. Thank you so much for sharing them with us.
