Your grandmother had quite an eye for design, and she wasn't afraid of intricate work, was she? Definitely museum quality! My favorite is the top one.

How wonderful to have had such a legacy handed down to you. You are the keeper of the future of these quilts and your giving them to a museum will insure that the history of your family will be continued, with YOU. You are so special to give them to the world and not keep them for yourself. Joanie

I said a while back when you first posted about your grandmother's quilts and it bears repeating ... you are making what I perceive to be a wise choice to protect the quilts. Of historical value, they will be properly cared for and available for all to see and to appreciate your grandmother's lovely work ... a nice legacy. I'm a bit of a museum nut and really appreciate the "goodies" on display, most donated by people such as yourself.
