WOW. These are fabulous. You are so right to share them with others through your donation. Thanks for showing us first.

Oh my goodness, I don't know how you can part with them. They are all so beautiful and such a treasure to have. I'm the first in my family to attempt quilting (that I know of). hopefully I will have some to pass down to my grands someday. Right now I'm busy making them for other people.

WOW! They are gorgeous. I especially love the first one. I'm not sure I could part with them, but it is the right thing to do since you are the last of her decendents. You will be making her a part of history. Imagine!

They are all wonderful and I'm glad they will be safe and in a place where they can be seen and enjoyed. It must be difficult to part with them.

I have thought long and hard about parting with them, believe me. When I thought about it though, it only makes sense. They have been sitting hidden away in my cedar chest for decades. They are too special and too valuable to use. If I were to use them, they'd get soiled, and eventually, they'd need washing. I'm not sure how well they would hold up. Plus, I don't have any way to store them properly. I'm turning them over to the museum for safekeeping as much as anything else. Others will enjoy them, yes; but mainly, they will be taken care of in the way they deserve. And I do like the part about making her a part of history too.

What treasures. Your grandmother still continues to live by leaving this legacy.

Those are so nice and I am sure they will be appreciated by all who will get to see them.
