Dina, your idea of the special blanket for the fur baby is great. Would you mind sharing a "guesstimate" for the most popular size? Thank you!

Those are cute. What size are they? Do they come in small medium or large?

I made quilts for my dogs and they all liked them. We've had 6 dogs in our life together and each had their own quilt. We have had 4 pass over our 20 years together. Each had their own quilt/blanket and each quilt/blanket went with them. Either cremation or buried. Made a couple for friends and their pets love them. Actually made on for a friends cockatoo. Elvis loves it. It was made out of a scarf with Elvis photo on it. Covers his cage.

Very cute idea, especially with cats actually using them.

Most are 21 1/2 by 17 1/2. It didn't take much fabric to make them this way. I cut one four inch strip, WOF, of each of the two fabrics. That made 10 four inch squares of each. Then I cut 2 two inch strips for a border, and 2 2 1/2 inch strips for the bindings. It took....with a bit of careful lining up....1/2 yard for the back.

Presto, cat quilt. Or small dog quilt . I made a few with 4 1/2 inch squares that made the final result 24 x 20. I made the border out of 2 1/2 strips. These took a bit more fabric, as I couldn't get 10 4 1/2 inch squares out of one strip, it took two.

Since most of these were made of scraps, I opted for the 4 inch squares most of the time.

They really were fun to make. In fact, even though I had told myself I had made enough, I just cut out two more.
