How lucky you are to have those quilts gifted to you!
And to have a handy man come to visit as well!
Congratulations!

Those quilts are beautiful. As far as I know, no one in my family quilted, until me, so I will never Inherit such a treasure, at least from family. So glad your folks got to visit and so nice of your "Dad" to make that desk into a sewing table!!!

That was so sweet of him. Great concept.

The quilts.......don't think I can pick the ones I like best. I'll take them all!

They will look stunning in a quilt ladder. How fast can three months go by??

Those are really beautiful quilts, and your parents are obviously the very best. I know you treasure them even more than the quilts, which are priceless heirlooms!

How sweet your stepdad is. He is one special person to give you his grandmother's quilts. What was her name? Is it on the quilts? I hope he told you all about her. Those are the stories at are passed on with the quilts for the future generations that are so neat to hear. And the reason some of us make these, to be remembered fondly, with smiles. If he didn't, maybe he could write you all the information and send it to you.

I love the way he set in your machine. You are going to be able to manuver much easier with your quilts now, for sure!
