Nine patch quilts are one of my favorite designs. Your variation is wonderful, the hst blocks make for a very lively rendition of a very traditional block. Kudos!

the quilt measures 60" x 70 so it is a nice size lap quilt.

The reason the blocks look square is I selected all of the blocks that were square or would square up to 9 1/2" I am working on a wall hanging with the 15 other blocks that couldn't cut it so I turned them in to 7 1/2" blocks when I finish that I will post it.
