    Rag Quilt

This is a rag quilt a made for my DD. She wanted a nice big snuggly flannel quilt so I thought I would give a rag quilt a try.
Took me heaps longer than I thought, but was a great way of using up all those scraps of batting I had hung on to
DD designed the pattern, she wanted all the blue/green hearts together on the raggy side, the back was all just random lighter colours.Name: DSCF9457.JPG

What a fantastic quilt. What a great incentive for others to mimic. Thanks.

Great job. It definitely looks warm and snuggly and with a good book and a hot cup of cocoa this will transport her to a lovely place. Great job.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments, it is winter down here and it is getting a lot of use, both on her bed and on the lounge, she wanted to take in on her recent scout camp but decided it was just too big and heavy LOL
