What a great idea, love it and I just finished a rag quilt have to run it through the washer as it sheds if you know what I mean!! I am going to try this after all the questions are answered!! What is homespun if I may ask?>?

I might have to do one and hand quilt with long stitches in an X, to give it a more primitive look...can't get enough of the primitives...

This is so homey! I, too have a quilt shower curtain. Maybe I'll make another just like this to switch the decor. (my walls are a creamy white.)I used a metal clothes rod (for closets) for my curtain rod. DH wanted to be sure it wouldn't fall down--so rod ends were screwed into the studs. I sewed tabs to the top to attach to curtain rings.

This could be it for me too. I am assuming there is a plastic shower curtain under it? I'd love to go with yellows and greens in real light colors, but you have inspired me. I've never done a rag quilt before. How many hours did you spend cutting on that before you washed it?
