I think what I love best about this thread is your story behind the quilt! The warmth of this quilt comes more from the fibers of your heart.

The quilt is WONDERFUL, I love the colors and the blue touch on the ragging is so pretty to my eye.

Be sure and tell us "The Rest of the Story" when you present this 'surprise' gift! I can't wait to hear!

I'm sure she will love it, and that is so thoughtful of you. I'm so glad you aren't disowning her since she is an ex relative. That's neat, and I love the quilt.

Love the story behind the quilt... congrats to your new friend... ! also i love your quilt great job.

I bought Christmas flannel to make one. I have not made it yet, (on my to do list)..
Question, some people use flannel, and some use batting so it is three pieces per square. Did you use two the front and back or three? Just curious I want to know everything before i make mine.. ha...

great job, love all the colors...

She's sure to love the beautiful quilt, but her greatest blessing is to have your support and friendship. She's one lucky lady!

What a wonderful thing for you do to. She has made a couragous step and I'm sure when she's tempted, she can look at the quilt, cuddle in it and know that she is loved.

How lovely of you to be so supportive. Know it will keep her warm as I just made one for myself, it was so much fun. My DH says it is an electric blanket in disguise. Praying for good things to come to this lady in the future.
