    I see why you are having trouble. Your work so far is perfect. Now you need to stop the colors with a sm 1inch border in a gold or mustard color. Then continue with a wide red or something totally different that follows your color scheme. With all of the wonderful advise you are getting.....I imagine you are even more confused now!!!! :D

    Border it with your darkest blue.That will stop your eye from bouncing off and bind in the same color this will calm down the edge.

    Maybe a large border in the middle shade of the three beige/taupe fabrices, then a small red binding

    I agree with stopping the fences. A small border like the one picture will do the trick. Jan... you and I think alike. Then etc. like you said.

    I agree with this post. Use one of the medium colors then maybe the red as outer border.

    Why don't you try a 2-1/2 inch gold or tan border, then an outer border of your darker blue/grey, about 3 to 3-1/2 inches.
