    Franie, actually I won't be using that EQ5 design with the floral. I have a stripe that I have been trying to place and I think this step design will be great. What do you think of this combo???

    I did use fabric paints; they are So So Soft by Americana. Got them on Hofcraft website way cheaper than locally. and yes, you could paint them. I put a pattern down with graphite paper under it and Itrace the design. I love to paint....I can not draw!!

    Hi, that is a great looking layout! Have you cut and sewn the pieces ? The colors are gorgeous together!

    Oh my! I just love the iris quilt and your painting is marvelous! Even if you cannot draw, you sure can paint well!
