Does your mother like red? I can see it with a 1" black sashing strip to make frame the colors, then a 4" red - maybe a blender - as a final border. Bright blue or turquoise would work, too. Yellow might look like a bumble bee. Got to have the black with those colors. I'd bind it with the second color. With the colors in the quilt, it doesn't need a busy edge.

I really like this one, I don't think I'd change it beyond adding some borders to it. The minky is a great idea, I really like minky, soooo soft and cuddly!

I agree with your Mom. It is an awesome quilt like it is. If you want it larger I would agree with adding to it but otherwise I wouldn't change a thing. I love it like it is.

It's beautiful and bright. Just add some borders to make it larger. In this case 'less is more'.

I'd keep the borders simple, maybe an inner border of black then outer border a blender of one of your favorite colors already in the quilt so the beautiful quilt stands out as it is. Lovely colors - I like bright!

Love the idea of black to make things "pop"!

Here's another vote for black borders. It really is so pretty now, and the black will show the bright colors off. Good job!

It is very pretty. I agree a black border would be pretty.

I love your quilt just the way it is. The colours are very rich looking. Excellent!
