Once I started using batiks, I was hooked. The extra steps needed to set the colors is so accepted in order to use this beautiful fabric. It seldom frays, has body without stiffness and is generally WONDERFUL! Retayne is not cheap, but you only use a small amount with each wash. I got mine at the LQS.

Thank you Sueisallaboutquilts I used the promo code CHARM2 and placed my first order with Connecting Threads. I ordered batiks, 2 baby quilt kits and some thread. I love this hobby, I just wish I had more time. Thanks again everyone for your help.

Yes, it does work but I do remember she said it had to be for fabric. But you bought so much fabric!! It's worth a call to customer service, like getting another free yard. YEAH :)
