That came out beautiful. Sounds like an interesting technique for those of us who don't like sewing curves.

Great color usage. Obviously your quilt inspectors approve too.

You said you appliqued the circle to a square and cut into 4ths. Smart idea! I see your 2 fabric inspectors are enjoying your quilt, too!

When you pieced the blocks, having the 2 layers of fabric : circle + background, Did you use the same 1/4" seam allowance? I didn't know if you found extra bulk from the 2 layers and used a wider seam allowance. Thank you!

Beautiful quilt. That pattern certainly is perfect for scraps-couldn't be prettier. Isn't it fun to make something so special out of a box, drawer or bag full of left-over pieces of fabric. Quite a lovely achievement.

This is very similiar to the one I made for my granddaughter for her wedding. My pattern was called "Bullseye".Was yours a raw edge applique? I like your layout better than mine. You did a fantastic job.

Oh it is gorgeous! Great job. Also I love your big bedroom. For years I had a big bedroom & in 2009 I sold that house & I bought this house. Now my bedroom is only about 9' square. Very very small! lol
