Love the owls. I immediately thought, "Ah, one, two, three. Three bites to the center of a tootsie pop." For those that remember the commercial.

Lovely quilts all. I've never been especially fond of panel quilts, but I think your bear and wolf quilt is great. I love the appliquéd foot prints and the negative/positive treatment of the borders on the front. Very clever. The story about your grandma was very touching.
