I have a lot of jeans from husband and family. Neighbor heard about homeless vets few years back and met one after giving him a quilt. She had a 1/2 bath with a shower in her garage. He had no family and her deceased husband was a vet. With his help she turned part of her garage into an apt. for him to live. He became her handy-man.

Peg, your quilt looks very worm and nice. The vet that gets it will be a very lucky person, it is greatly appreciated.

What a wonderful gift for a vet who could use some warmth and cheer!

How wonderful your quilt turned out. I have had a denim quilt like this since 1976 and it still looks great!
It keeps me toasty warm when I take it to football games in the fall. You will make someone super happy.

Good job. It will be treasured by some fortunate recipient.

It's a beautiful quilt and it will mean so much more than a warm cover for someone. These are the best kind of quilts in my opinion. Love the colours in yours and the patina as said before.

As an aside I am starting to buy blokes (mens) jeans for myself from now on. I am totally fed up with jeans containing elastane.
