Does anyone know if there is a tutorial for making the cubes. I just really don't want to buy another book right now just to learn that one thing.

Cutebuns had a few she made on "Tip Toe Thru the Hexagons, Layout" page 32. She has a bunch of pics. and some explanation too. She made a comment about doing a tutorial, but I don't know if she did. Maybe you should PM her and ask.

Here you are - a link to the instructions from the book, for making hollow cubes - posted by K3N.

http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-28431-1.htm

For anyone though wanting to make these quilts and hollow cubes the book is a good buy - and easy to refer to!

Both are gorgeous, and I would never have guessed they came from the same fabric.

Just found this section. Love the way you used the colors. You are right. wouldn't know it was the same fabric.

How lovely! As a newcomer to the OBW concept, I love that people post pictures of the original fabric. I can hardly wait to try one, and the right fabric will come along soon, I just know it. Thanks for a wonderful inspiration.
