I think you are on to something. I agree with placing these block with an alternate. Pick something in the rusty brown family to pick that color up. It will make the quilt pop!

I love the colors of the blocks and I think if you could find a color solid as the color of the carpet that you have them lay ed out on and cut solid blocks from that color same as your carpet it would be so pretty with them. :D :thumbup:
