    Default Reflections of Fall

I just finished this quilt for my mom. It's lap sized and about 4.5 feet by 6 feet. The pattern is "Reflections" by Fons and Porter. I named it Reflections of Fall based on the fall fabrics (Foliage by Sentimental Studios for Moda). This is the first quilt that I did completely on my new Pfaff Performance 5.0. All the quilting is FMQ except the straight lines in the border. The FMQ isn't perfect, especially the "straight" lines within the blocks, but I'm happy with it for the first one on a new machine. Plus, I was on a time deadline and did all the quilting in 8 days (nights and 1 weekend). I still need to make a label and sew it on the next time I go visit my mom.

The first picture is the front and the second is the back. The inserted row is blocks that are the same proportion as the ones on the front, just half the size and not cut into the strips to reverse the order.

Is that cool and the back too. The back is like a modern quilt. You could use it both ways. Awesome.
