Remake of son's favourite quilt, originally made in 1990

I'd buy a pattern!
Sorry, the pattern doesn't have a name. I just made it up. A friend said it looked like blackberries, so I call it "Voilą les mūres" (or just "Blackberries"). If you look carefully, you'll see that there are 4 x 5 blocks made up of 4 triangles. Each triangle has a kite, two longer right triangles and two shorter equilateral triangles. I hope that helps.

I think my son likes it so much because of the secondary designs. He's doing his PhD in Math and has that kind of mind. He's been urging me to make another of this nature, but it's not easy. I think about it, though...

Beautiful quilt and what a lucky son to receive his second security and well loved quilt. Love the scenery around you too. Thx for sharing. You are a great Mom to do this for him-we never stop doing for our children do we?

I don't know if this will help. I made an outline of the templates and scanned it. It's on a standard 8.5" x 11" piece of paper. You'll need 1 kite shape, two right angle triangles, and two of the other triangles for each quarter block. Do be careful, though, because the pattern involves mirror images.
