I would just do straight line quilting following the triangle and square shapes. I don't think it needs a lot of quilting, just enough to accent the shapes used. It looks wonderful with the pillows.
Thank you so much. I must say, I'm pretty proud of those points! ;-) For some reason the tube piecing seemed to make it easier to line up the seems for the points than when I did pinwheels on the previous quilt I did. And yes, I did design this. What mental gymnastics that is! lol! So difficult to imagine in my mind what I want and wonder if when I start cutting and sewing if it's going to come out like I want it. In the end, I just had to trust the process and that the outcome would kind of define itself...and it did just that...and I'm more than pleased!

We all need to start somewhere, and I think your idea of starting on this piece is great!
I didn't do the swirls and hearts as small as she is showing - the hearts were maybe about the size of a small fist...

Have fun, I hope to see what you come up with... ;)
Thanks so much for this link. I watched it...and oh my, she's good! Not sure I'm up to that but I do see how smoothly she was able to execute this and just keep everything going at a really nice speed. I'll watch this a bit more just so I can see if I can get my mechanics down like this. Thanks again.

Your bed is darling. I've been wanting to do the same in my bedroom. Now I know just what I can do. I love doing things with Yo Yo's.

Y'all are too kind. Thanks so much for your enthusiasm and words of encouragement! I must say, the more I do, the more I'm thinking this "quilting thing" is gonna be pretty long term. LOL! :-)
