    Hi!

I started off with good intentions making a little quilt for my cousin, Troy who was a paramedic. In previous posts, he has intersitial lung disease as a result of helping out during Hurricane Katrina. He's not been feeling too great and he is just cut up!!!

The FMQ was so not good, several places where my thread just bunched up and I had to cut it out. So... note to self, do not FMQ special projects if you don't know how!"

Bottom line, Troy will be happy to have it and my cousin(his wife) is just thrilled with me having made it for him.

Thanks for looking and for those of you that helped come up with the name for it!

Don't fret about your quilting - this quilt was made with love, and that's what really counts. Best wishes for your cousin's recovery :)

Hope your cousin is feeling better. Will pray for him.

I love the quilt. He will, too. So nice of you to make it for him.

    Thanks for sharing.

My friend Maggie, she had stencils and helped me with the applique part of it. I got the Star of Life emblem from the internet, since my cousin (Diane) said that is what he had on his uniform. A shame he is so ill and he is young. There's not much the doctors can do for him, he has to ride it out. Too good of guy to be going through this.
