Renaissance Quilt
#1
I posted this pic back in October, about a quilt that I made using a Moda Renaissance turnover pak. I said I wasn't too thrilled with the fabric and was going to donate it to my son's school.
Everyone here was so supportive and said it would find someone to love it.
And it did!
One of the teachers, who has been seeing it in the staff office for the last month, bid on it and got it.
It's a twin size. I paid around $8 for the turnover (online), about $15 for extra fabric, and the batting was some prequilted fabric that I got in a bargain bin for next to nothing. Cost to me - less than $30
It raised $130 at auction.
I'm happy, she's happy, the quilt is happy.
Thanks!!
