That is a really nice quilt! I am sure one of the guys at his shop will love it. Hope DH doesn't bring it home as his :) That is nice of you to rescue it and donate it to someone that will appreciate it.

Great rescue!! One of our troops is really going to love this!! Sure will brighten up their living "quarters."

Oh my! Thank heavens you found this beautiful quilt before someone used it for a "picnic blanket" or worse yet, a moving pad. I'd like to think that someone simply couldn't take everything they owned with them when they left the base and gave it away hoping that someone like you would find it. Somebody is going to love it.

That is beautiful and I am so glad you rescued it. This is probably an example of someone who received a gift and had no idea of what it was. I am glad for the maker of the quilt that it will be appreciated.
