Thread: Ugly Fabric contest

    Every year our local quilt shop has an UGLY FABRIC contest and the customers vote on their favorite quilt The last one I submitted was this quilt and the fabric I had to use was Aspagagus.

    It may have been ugly fabric but it sure made a beautiful quilt.

    Beautiful quilt. Which fabric did you think was ugly? I think most quilts look best with an ugly fabric in them. It really makes the rest stand out!

    Beautiful quilt! Our LQS does that, too, but we are limited to a total of 140" around the outer edge.

    I think it looks great! lemons - lemonade. :) We had a fabric swap with some of my quilting friends one year. all christmas fabric. One of the girls brought fabric with raindeer on it. When it was cut up into tiny squares, there were lots of raindeer butts. It will forever be known as the raindeer butt quilt. tee hee
