No actually I tried the stitch that is called invisible tacking. It took lots more time that I would have wished. I took about 3 stitches over each over, about 1/3" long, then burried the thread inside to the next spot that I tacked it.

Well, "her" name is Gracie (Gray C: for cat) We thought she was a girl, thus the name. The vet thought she was a girl too, but when they cut her open for a spay, there were no girl parts. So they went a little lower and found little tiny boy parts. So she was spayed and neutered the same day. When she is older we will break the news that actually "she" is really a B-O-Y. But she's too happy to care now. She started out as a wild ferrel cat from a ferrel kitty that our friend rescued, but Gracie hasn't got a wild hair left in her!
