Your "bars and stars" are simply laid out...which makes them stand out so well! What a simply beautiful quilt, and the fact that you donated it...wow...a lot of work! Makes mee feel good as a fellow quilter!

Looks like it was a great project for a retreat. I have not had the opportunity to attend one yet, but it's on my bucket list.
