Retreat Quilt
#13
The pattern is American Heritage. You can find it on the Robert Kaufman website: WWW.ROBERTKAUFMAN.COM
I downloaded the free PDF pattern and had been wanting to do it for some time now. It is a booger to put together. I ripped more than I sewed, but all in all it came out very nice.
The fabric requirements mention 1/4 yard & 1/8 yard for most of the fabrics. I found that I could get all the colors out of a fat quarter. The neutrals and black, you'll need to follow the yardage. I also added a 1" black border, then a 2" pattern border and lastly a 4" border in black to frame the whole thing. Otherwise, the quilt is pretty small. 40"X 60" before borders if I remember correctly. I used Quilter's Dream Puff batting so I could quilt it up to 10" apart.

I'd love to know the name of this pattern, too, because this quilt is so inspiring! It's beautiful == it looks like stained glass. I know someone will be overjoyed to get it! Great job!
