What batting did you use also?

Thanks for sharing your project!
Rhonda, we use No Show Mesh, Floriani or other brand, I bought by the metre from sewing shop, and cotton batting. These designs are all ITH - 2 layers of no show mesh, stitch placement stitch, add batting, stitch again then add fabric only half inch larger all around than the squaring stitch, tack down and off you go. There is nothing intricate about these designs, just care when trimming close to stitching and patience if using applique.

Read my reply to Rhonda, Cindy, it's all ITH and so simple - the magic is in the stitching which comes to life at the touch of a button! I used a Brother Innovis 2200.

Thanks Ada!

I use the NSM all the time in EMB quilts and sometimes double it depending on the project. Proper hooping and stabilizers help me prevent frustrations with pulling/puckering.

Their designs are great with the mix-n-match size blocks. Fun stuff!

I loved your post showing the quilt top and I love these appliqued blocks. It is wonderful to see what can be done with an embroidery machine.
