Default Rhapsody Quilt with applique

As promised yesterday, here are two blocks I tried with applique, as per the intention of AG's quilt. The all lavender block was stitched on Homespun cotton with satin applique.

I always enjoy seeing what people do with the machine embroidery to "make it their own". These new sewing machines sure aren't what grandma used ( but I bet they would have loved them!!)

    Beautiful blocks!

I saw your quilt posted on the other thread. I've considered this project and would love to know what type and technique did you use for stabilizer, please. These designs are intensive, especially the large sizes.

What batting did you use also?

    Thanks for sharing your project!

This is beautiful - but, way beyond my skills LOL. Much respect for those that do this.
