I not a fan of brown but I think the stars are really interesting the way they pop against the brown. I like it. Stay the course, finish it, send it on, and then treat yourself:)

Your quilt is great. But I understand your concern. I too had to make a quilt for sil and the colors she chose were brown, green, orange, and oriental. I agree, it is hard to work with colors you are not fond of. Each day I worked on it was an effort. But sil liked it. And that was my plan. So pat yourself on the back and make something with colors you adore.
