Should I put the ring around the "Tree of Life" or not? I'm not sure.

The ring contains the tree too much - I'd go without! Besides, "done is good".

I would put a thin black border around the whole thing. The ring looks a little too tight.

??? I like them both. I like the ring at the bottom of the roots but not so much around the tree.

I think a thinner ring would look better.

pick a color in the quilt and carry it out to your border.

can you trim the inner of the circle/ring to make it thinner? that would still be good if you could. great tree!!

I vote for with the ring. Somehow it just looks good with it than without it.

Oh yes, that dark ring makes all the difference and enhances your tree beautifully.

    Love job so far.

I would do a thinner ring in a lighter colour. The thick, dark ring makes me feel claustrophobic. If a thinner, lighter ring isn't possible, I would go without.
