Very, very nice. I wish I had made myself a quilt back in 1999 when I had breast cancer. From what you say, it seems like we are similar in surgery situations. I had my first mastectomy in 1999, then two years later my mammogram showed a tiny pinhead size spot on my one remaining breast, and when they told me I would have to have a mammogram and biopsy twice a year from here to eternity, I decided it was time to go ahead and get the other breast gone, too, rather than that biopsy twice a year thing. Then in 2005 I had one knee replaced, and in 2008 I had the other knee replaced, and in 2012 I had my thyroid removed - not cancer, just growing enormously and they told me I wouldn't be able to swallow before long, so I went with it. So you have my prayers in the days ahead.

What a lovely quilt that you created during a rough part of your life. Take care and best wishes for the future knee surgery.

Kudos to you for a great finish while probably not feeling like doing anything much. It turned out great and will be a welcome comfort on the sofa this winter.

Love the blues.
you must do things that brings you joy and happiness and keep your mind busy at the same time.
that helps a lot.
Wish you the best.

Beautiful quilt, and I think the borders go good with the contemporary quilt. Be very proud.
