I am always amazed at the skill of you people who show your 1st and 2nd quilts that have several fabrics and seams that must be match. I'm making my first quilt and I see how hard it is to match the seams from block to block. I've sewn clothing and home dec for years, but they don't call for the precise seam allowances and block sizes that quilting does. I live too far from a quilting store to take the basic lessons I need. All of this to say I think your second quilt is outstanding. thanks for sharing. jean

Very cute quilt! I think I am going to do her Mystery Quilt she's starting soon, Orca Bay.
cute kitty too. I had a kitty who looked just like yours, in her young, thin days! Mine was quite a bit fatter in her older days. She used to lay in my sewing room everytime I sewed and loved to lay on my quilts! Sadly she died a few years ago. She was 13!

Nice! And did you do it all with scraps? I like the way the reds stand out agains the softer neutrals. I see your inspector approves. I think we all need those little tags "Inspected by No. 20975" or whatever. LOL
