I like the realistic pictures in the fabric ... so often, we don't see that sort of a thing!

Good for you for doing something so special for your friend!

Is the whole quilt the panel?
or what have you added to the panel?

verey cute quilt. I love chickens but snakes are another matter. rattlesnakes are already out. moving cattle this morning and one was streached across the trail. cattle just went on by and no one stepped on him luckily. I rode way out around in the rocks as couldn't stand to get near.
makes my skin crawl. anyway love your quilt.

Only the center rooster squares and the black sashing are the panel. I even had to add a little black top and bottom to get it to the size I needed. The red is a companion print of red with black chicken wire. I've done a close up and marked off the blocks so you could see the HST I used. I did make them a method I will not duplicate ever again! I did them with tube stripping; thus all the outside edges were bias and the long arm quilter had to do stay-stitching to keep it from stretching.

I have several friends that have rooster in there kitchen.. I have seen the panel. Where did you get it.

Thanks QAddict for all the info ... I wonder if there's any chance there's something like that up here somewhere.

Though I'd be more excited if it were lifelike Jersey and or Holstein cows ..... or Percheron horses! :)
