Knowing that this quilt would be heavily quilted and that I would be using it for a bed quilt, I chose Matilda's Own wool batting. It was wonderful to quilt, but I was a little surprised at the stiffness of the quilt after it was done. However, that stiffness has softened up to become wonderful in the months since. I'm looking forward to using it this winter.

I use Signature threads, and for this one used Bottom Line in the bobbin.
