This is a gorgeous quilt! I was speechless when I first brought up the photo. Really, really lovely! You should be proud.

Me either! What isn't fabulous on this quilt? The pattern? Perfect. The fabric/color choices? Perfect. The execution? Perfect. The quilting? Perfect. The backing? Perfect. I'm serious... this is a masterpiece!

Your time was very well spent. It is superb on both the front and back. QAYG is the way to go. Mine have been one color on the back. Your design is much better - much more artistic looking.

Hi costumegirl, all fabric was hand cut, triple stitch is another function on the machine my old Jenome had it I think it's nicer than buttonhole of zigzag when machine applique I have always hand applique using buttonhole method I can do very small buttonhole stitch also very nice but machine much quicker, check your machine it may have a triple stitch function. Thank you for looking

Just a few questions: Are the applique pieces hand cut or die cut? What is a 'triple' stitch?

Please keep us posted on how the show goes
