    Thanks everyone, as the lady's name was Rose, I rummaged in my stash and found two fat quarters with roses on and found scraps that blended with the colours in it...that's all I ever do, find a focus fabric and select colours that 'go'!!

    HAHA I found this in our local garden centre, it is actually a goose with little glasses on, John bought it for me, I thought you all might find that amusing!!
