Thank you ladies - we are having fun!

A little update - I have made great progress on my round on jillnjo's center - really coming together now.

My round on Tam...moo's is almost finished! I thought the center floral looked like a William Morris print (at least a bit like one), so I machined appliqued vines and flowers from my William Morris book and I like how it turned out. I'll have a picture by next week hopefully.

I finished round 2 on Tam..moo's center today and here is the picture. It was on my design wall that is white, so the white borders don't show very well. Hope you like it, Tammy! Now I have Gina's hanging up there so I can think on what I'd like to add to hers. Having fun!!Name: Fall 2012 060 (Small).jpg

Jillnjo, It's gorgeous!! I love your applique. I can't wait to work on the next round. You've set it up wonderfully for the next round also. Feel free to send it on whenever you want. I still need to finish the one I'm working on. But, it will push me to get it done and move it on. (Just knowing I have one waiting to be worked on motivates me.) I will keep it safe.

OMG!! Your applique is wonderful and certainly speaks to that center square of fabric. So well done!! I would be giddy with excitement were this my quilt.

Wow...I cannot believe it! Simply stunning is all I can say. What I love the most about this swap is the unique additions that each quilter adds to your center. I love love love the additions!

Judith, I put Tammy's quilt in the mail friday(yesterday). You should be getting it the first of the week. I look at Gina's each time I walk into my sewing room and while I sew. It really helps to have it hanging up there! It starts to take direction in my mind as to where I want to go with it. I find they really grow on me the more I look at each one! I am planning on going with a friend to a local guild this month where they do many robins and this has given me lots of ideas towards choosing borders, it is almost limitless in creativity. Nancy.

It is straight, I just had to take the pic on an angle so as not to get my shadow in the picture. :-)

These are so amazing!! I just went through the posts start to finish and I am so amazed! The centers were so pretty and each round has made them even more beautiful!! I would love to try something like this one day! There is always a quilt pattern I love but can't figure out how to make it complete and this type of thing would be a great solution for that problem. You all are such an inspiration to me!!!

How beautiful, Paula!! I do truly LOVE what you added to my center! Perfect colors and design. How exciting! And, Judith, I'm assuming you did get Tammy's quilt in the mail? I have been so busy that I kinda forgot to check and make sure it arrived. Thank you, Paula for that gorgeous round! Nancy

OMGsh!!! You guys are so talented!
Your centers and rounds are beautiful. Someday I'd love to try joining, but
I'm afraid I'd ruin someones' wonderful center.
    Great work!
