That braid is a P.I.T.A, isn't it? It kept going crooked. I straightened it the best I could. I'm sure Imaquilter (when she gets it) will most likely have to straighten it again.
Hopefully I can get yours out to her in the mail today (it's 2:30am right now,) I've been up because a storm came thru and lingered over our house. Thunder, lightening and all. Power flickered and there is no backup alarm. Alarm clock works by electric. Hubby is home tonight and if alarm doesn't go off, he'll be late for work. He has to be up in an hour and 1/2, so here I am up all night making sure that if power goes out, he gets woken up. What a good wife I am, huh? :)

The directions on this border was terrible so I just looked at the picture and figured it out myself. It would have been real easy if I used a gridded interfacing but decided against it because of the added weight it would make the fabric. Almost (almost) all the points match but a couple are off.

And yes, Bettlove, I think my mom is proud. She is the one who taught me to sew!

mareliba, that border is perfect with the center of the quilt! I'm really envious of all of you working on this round robin. All the quilts keep growing in spectacular fashion!

And, yes, Terri, you are a really good to wife to stay up to wake up your DH. Hopefully, he will reward you for that

Sandpat....I think the next time we do a Round Robin, you need to join in! It is really fun!

Well, it's still raining, has been all morning. I got hubby to work on time. It took us almost an hour to make the usual 30 min drive. The rain came down in torrential downpours. Was so bad at one point, I made him pull over in a driveway until the rain eased up a bit. We could barely see the road, that's how bad it was. But, at least the power DIDN'T go out.
My reward? Spending HIS in Hong Kong. lol

I just love that round. I am in another round robin with my quilt guild and I think I am going to try and copy your idea. Just hope I can do as good as you did. Thanks.

Here is Bettlove's center. I tried to bring the yellow out a little more with the friendship star. Also there is a little bit of yellow in the red print.

I will be sending this off to Vicki tomorrow.
