I actually made another carpenter wheel block, a little bit bigger and am just using strictly all half square triangles on it. It was going to be a wall hanging, but it's growing.
I can just sit and sew those Thangles all day and I just keep adding and adding to it. I don't know what it's going to become, but I'm having a blast with it.
Then I'm going to take it up to our quilt shop and practice quilting on it.

Here's the Thangles' website that shows you on this page just what they are and how they work.
They're awsome and worth every penny.

About more pictures, they'll come in spurts. Everyone should be finishing up the first border by June 15.
After June 15, the second borders will be turning up.
I'm working on the second border for a block now. Actually, what I mean by "working" is not actually sewing, I have to design it and lay it out.

mfre42day - don't know if you are talking about my block or not. It is the first picture posted. If this is the one you are looking for, it is Wedgeworks by Cheryl Phillips. It is actually real easy to put together, but not that easy to cut out. I have taught this class many times and people are amazed at their finished project.

Thats the one! thank you so much. Looks like it's not really a beginners pattern though :? Maybe by the time I'm at that level it'll be less expensive to get the book, looking on the bright side that is!
Again thank you

I am just about done with my first border for Dawn. It will probably get sent out this week to Vicki. I will post a pic as soon as I can.
I received my next one from Dawn today in the mail. I can't wait to get started on it.
I hope everyone is having as much fun as I am.
