I did not work off a published pattern. The blocks are snail trail in a storm at sea sashing, both are traditional quilt blocks. There are several free directions for making both storm at sea and snail trail; snail trail is also known as a monkey wrench block.

I just gotta say "WOW". I would have never thought of russet and grey. But they look stunning together. Did you draw up the pattern?

This is a beautiful quilt. I especially like how you took the star points out into the borders. You color/fabric choices is very effective. Absolutely wonderful quilt!
