I WAS in a cast for 9 weeks in 1998 with a badly broken leg and STUCK on one floor of my condo... so I KNOW how you felt with missing your hobby and sewing machine.....LOVE The quilts.

From experience I know what you have gone through. Don't expect to cut straight away I was amazed at how weak my wrists had become being in plaster at the same time for 6 weeks.
Glad you managed to sew while in plaster and splint and made two beautiful quilts.

You cannot keep a good sewer down. Great effort after being out of action for that length of time.
