That is tiny! Did you use pre-printed Sashiko panels? I recently did a bunch of Sashiko for a WIP and ordered the preprinted blocks so I could grow accustomed to the proper stitch size. I wanted to go much smaller from my hand quilting days. After doing several I did a block that I marked the design myself. I had to work on not going too small with the stitches. I really enjoyed doing it and even did a couple of pieces with some fancy sparkly thread. Sashiko can be addictive.

There are loads of sources.

I got mine mostly from Shibori Dragon and Maeda Importing. But I will say the ink used by the Maeda Importing does not wash out easily and in some cases not at all. Shibori Dragon ink came out with a soak in plain water.

Great choice for a border and it works really well with the Sashiko which I truly love.....very cohesive. Your stitches are so beautifully uniform. Have never done it but do love handwork so will have to try. Is the pattern transferred to fabric by stencil? is it freeform? Is it pounced? Inquiring minds need to know!
