It takes a person with a warm heart to foster rescue animals. Bless you.

Bless you for fostering those dogs. They are the lucky ones.

I went out a while ago in the snow to buy some more Piddle pads...sorry, but I will not be making homemade pads...that could give my Tink the idea that she could use any fabric that was on the floor.
Tink is wearing her coat in the house, too...it really is cold today.

We have 10. Thankfully our weather is not so bad as yours although most of ours do NOT like to go out in the rain. None of our dogs were acquired as puppies and all needed homes for one reason or another. It is hard to say no, isn't it.

My neighbor shovels from tree to tree for his yippie dogs. I have two cats and it is great you take care of the dogs. Better you than me...

I think that is great, we have 2 dachshunds and I would not know what to do with out them. How ever there are times when they are to demanding (will not move away from your side and must be held, non stop). But love them to death. Do you have a pattern for the coats. Would love to make one for them.

    Thanks

Awww! how adorable! Those pink flamingos already make me feel warmer :) And I LOVE how Annie's coat matches her pretty pink collar. Lucky Pups to have a Mom/Foster Mom like you :)

Paulette; I know what you mean, my mom and dad went with out a dog for a long while, because they had the grandkids around all the time. Then the kids got older and involved in everything, so they got a dog again. that was the best thing they have every done. It gives them so much company. Then my son got a dog over 2 years ago and she was going to have puppies (he did not know this when he got her) So they ended up with 5 puppies. 4 went to good homes and the last one did not. the person who took him a banded him on the coldest day of the year and he was so small. But my son got a call we got him back. His dad and I to the puppy and I just don't know what we would do with out him. My folks took one as did my niece. So when we all get together at the folks with all the dogs that everyone has we end up with, over 10 dogs. We are almost out numbered. But love them to death.

My Iggie SaraJane has decided she is using puppy pads until May, lol. Even with 2 coats on she hates the cold. Of course she is batty - born with 2 brains cells and sometimes they both fire at the same time. But she is a love.
